The reciprocating air compressor, also known as a piston compressor, delivers air at high pressure using positive displacement. Oil refineries, chemical plants, natural gas processing, and gas pipelines use reciprocating air compressors because they are safe and reliable compressed air systems. The reciprocating air compressor is more common for discontinuous compressor use while the rotary screw air compressors are built for continuous applications.

This QR is a proven performer, engineered for the lowest cost of ownership and high efficiency, this model comes in 1-25 horsepower delivering up to 175 PSI.
The Quincy QT reciprocating compressor is also built for high efficiency and long lasting performance. The basic QT models can push out up to 70 ACFM at a maximum 175 PSI with typical horsepower ranging from 3-30. With loadless auto stop/start and high-efficiency intercoolers, the QT compressor is built to last.
